Hamilton County's 1st City to Pass the Mask Mandate- Fishers
Starting Friday, July 24th at 8 a.m., Fisher’s residents and visitors MUST WEAR A MASK!!!
Why the mask mandate?
The health department has recently seen an increase in Coronavirus cases over the last four weeks. In order to keep the number of cases down and Fisher residents safe, the health department and police department, will be enforcing this mandate. This mandate is set to be in order till September 4th, 2020 (Memorial Day Weekend).
What does the mask mandate mean?
If you wish to enjoy these Fisher’s locations, then you must be wearing a mask correctly in order to enter/ be served:
• Retail Stores
• Grocery Stores
• Restaurants, Bars, or Entertainment Venues
• Salons and Personal Care Facilities
• Gyms and Fitness Centers
• Office or Commercial Buildings
• Government Buildings
There are a few exceptions to wearing a mask. You can find those exceptions at https://www.wibc.com/news/local-indiana/fishers-to-require-masks-starting-friday/.
It is always a good idea to leave a mask in your car, purse, pocket, etc. in case you leave the house without one!
How long do you all think it will be before Noblesville follows suit?
Remember: if you feel sick, STAY HOME!
