Christina M. Trent

Christina M. Trent is a dedicated attorney with extensive experience across a wide range of legal areas, including family-based immigration, immigration-based post-conviction relief (PCR), misdemeanors and minor traffic offenses, custody and parenting time matters, child support, stepparent adoption, guardianships and emergency guardianships, wills, and probate, powers of attorney, and contract drafting, review, and negotiation. She has developed a particular expertise in crimmigration—the complex intersection of immigration and criminal law—and is deeply committed to helping clients navigate these high-stakes legal challenges.

A Spanish speaker, Christina provides legal services in both English and Spanish, ensuring that language is never a barrier to effective representation. Her ability to communicate directly with Spanish-speaking clients enhances trust, clarity, and results throughout the legal process.

A graduate of Ball State University (2001), Christina earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2004 and was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2007. Since then, she has built a reputation for thoughtful advocacy, a compassionate approach, and a strong commitment to client success. In September 2024, Christina joined Holt Legal Group, where she continues to deliver exceptional legal counsel.

Outside of her legal work, Christina is passionate about the outdoors, reading, and environmental conservation. She serves as a Scoutmaster for a Scouts BSA troop in Indianapolis, guiding youth in building character, leadership, and life skills. Christina lives in Indianapolis with her husband, two children, a cat, and a dog. She is also learning to play the piano and enjoys using her Spanish both professionally and in her community. With a strong foundation in law, a heart for service, and a commitment to accessibility, Christina works every day to make a positive impact—both in and out of the courtroom.
